Dawn of the tubby tax?
Public health minister, Dawn Primarolo claims there are early signs that the rise in childhood obesity has been halted. I’m sad to report that in High Town in Hereford on a Saturday morning, that is not the case. Here there are more overfed, flab-toting juniors than you could wave a saveloy at, and a deeply alarming sight it is. Alarming and depressing, because, in time, we who pay a bit of tax will have to pay for the treatment of all the ailments (and there are a lot) that are caused by excessive face-stuffing.
